Episode 27: The Horseshoe

  2. You're right. I think Steve and I really liked it overall. It's a very versatile workout in that you can play with the paces and reps a bit depending on the season, and it's unstructured to the point that you're can't get in your head too much about splits and comparisons. I also really like running on soft surfaces whenever possible, and whereas it would be tough to do a tempo around a grass field, the hard/easy component makes it doable to run on grass for an extended period of time. Two thumbs up.
